| Yorkie & Pets...Other Species (?) How does your Yorkie get along with your other pets? I got a PM from a member today asking about my bird so I decided to officially introduce him...... This is Tino & Bunny's brother Ivan the Grey... He is 10 months old, so still a baby, but he is very big for his age and he is a very very very smart little guy! He tricks Tino and Bunny into thinking he wants to be their friend by climbing down to the bottom of his cage and whistling to them, so they come running over and then when Tino sticks his little nose up to the bars, Ivan tries to nip it! Not every time, but most times... every now and then Ivan tries to preen Tino's beard... its very cute! Ivan puppy barks just like Bunny... He scolds both Tino & Bunny by yelling "UH! UH! UH!" when they are doing anything wrong in his eyes, like playing or eating or breathing!!! And the best is that he sits up on his cage and just laughs at all of us... its hilarious!!! Does anyone else have birds or any other species that shares their home with their Yorkies???

| Bella gets along fine with other animals. We actually had a playdate for her and my friend's cat! It was so so funny to see. But she didnt get scared or mean. She was just curious.

| Ivan is so cute and sounds like a real character! I have a big cat that doesn't like the puppy because he's always jumping, nipping and sniffing his butt! I don't think I'd like that done to me either! I'm hoping when Brutus gets older they'll at least tolerate each other but for now NOT!

| I have other dogs and Tiah gets along with them great. Does anyone remember the old days when cats were afraid of dogs? My cat rubs up against Tiah and lays on his back. Tiah just steps over him and goes on her way! |

| 2 sugar gliders! Their names are Layla and Emma, and they are so cute. Keeley and Emma (on of my suga babies) met for the first time the other day. It was so funny. He went up to her cage and she came down to his level they got nose to nose for a while and just stared at each other. Then all the sudden Emma crabbed at him (crabbing a a defense sound gliders make to scare away other animals, it sounds like a loud electric pencil sharpener).Keeley jumped SO high and then started barking at the cage. He hasen't gone back since. I had been worried how my gliders would act having another animal in the house, I was glad to see Emma take charge and hold her own against an animal that is SO much bigger then her. |

| Last year when my girls Abby and Sydney were babies our cat Maizy practically adopted them. I had dead birds ,lizards, and even a headless mouse brought to the door as gifts to the yorkies. She played so gentle with them even licked their ears.. it was sweet. Now that the girls are older and play rougher they have so much fun. It looks funny to see them run past the window with the cat chasing the dogs. |

| I love Ivan! He is so handsome and sounds like so much fun to have around I bet he keeps your family entertained We dont have any other pets just the 2 yorkies, but I would love to see how my 2 would do with a cat. My mom had a cat and Missy loved to play with her, they would play tag all for hours. Missy would chase her and touch her with her paw then run away, the cat would chase Missy and touch with her paw then run away. It was really cute.

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | Besides My husband - species unknown - I have a cocker spaniel named Tessa....BOTH my girls adore her and every once in a while she'll play with them and it's CRAZY - she is SO out of her element with their speed and agility... it usually ends up with her sitting in one place with her head is just spinning on her neck - they move SO FAST .lol.... She HAS taught both girls the art of Toad Hunting though - not something I'm too happy with ...but they sure love it. |
