You want to know how can I prove it to my breeder ? cause I call her and she said no she never ever would do that to nobody, but she did to me cause he have papers (AKC) and I started to calling her making questions and pushing, so one day ( and I'm talking about last week) I call her and let her know I'm going to the court with my husband tomorrow if you don't do the DNA test to my puppy to confirm the bloodline and she was always making excuses to don't do it, and she was a really nice person she always answered my calls but now in days you never know and I paid $1000 for mine. So actually she confess me the grandfather it wasnt a pure yorkie he was a yorkie poo, so my my baby got it from his grand pa.

IF your breeder outright lied to you - I'd DEF go after her. That's just wrong and she shouldn't be representing her dogs as purebred if they aren't. I would love to see pictures of your puppy if you have them ...I'm sure he's very cute and you love him but these people need to be called out - that's fraud

I know I have to do something about it but to be honest with you i told the breeder me and husband are going to the court but really my husband doesn't know doesn't the puppy is not pure breed and I'm more then sure his going to get really mad even with me cause he wanted to wait a little bit more save a little bit more money cause he wants a female and he found this lady in the breeder class. of the AKC and she was asking for $2200, but the other lady sound so honest and I saw the parents so i said to myself what can be wrong? but here I am paying the consequences

AKC too, but i have a question, I have to wait for them or I can go to the court right away?

I didn't say that there are no dogs with short hair. I said that A GOOD breeder WILL NOT breed poor quality yorkies. Short hair/redleg IS poor quality yorkie. Read STANDARD: silky coat, long hair, etc, etc. I communicate with show breeders, I do know for sure.
Of course, it is NOT the standard, so why it is not right to breed "so-called" yorkies with short hair, who weight over 7 pounds, etc.

After looking at all of the pics of your little one and the other pups from the litter, I think that the puppies are not 100% Yorkie. I am not a breeder but my mother was for quite some time and that would be my opinion. Maybe some breeders on here could give you their opinion. One of the grandparents may have been a mix. Puppies tend to take on the traits of the grandparents more so than the parents.

You could have him DNA tested but what would be the point? You love him, end of story. You are paying a fair price and finding out that he was wasn't pure Yorkie wouldn't change how you feel. Just take him home and enjoy your new baby!
