As far as the price... since I bathe him at home... and they only have to do a trim, it usually only costs me abt $30....when I had him in a puppy cut it was over $50! I actually think its less expensive to have them in a full coat! Gerry- I tell them no clippers on his face bc I like the nice clean line that it makes when they just take the scissors and make one long cut up the sides. This way all of the hair is the same length and it just grows out really nice too! I agree about not leaving them... I have left Tino before with one groomer that I really trust, but even so, I would never leave them for a bathe and a blow dry... so many horror stories are about burns from the blow dryer.

| ACK! They gave a him a "puppy cut"!! I'm just relieved that I told them not to touch his body so that his coat can keep growing in. Unfortunately, I asked them to clean up his eyes and trim a little around the face. Well, he came back with a CREW CUT -- except they did it on his whole head!!! GRRR... ARGH! I must say that he still looks SO handsome and I never realized how big his eyes really were, but the hair on top of his head is so short -- and it's silver now -- that he reminds me of Tom Cruise in Collateral. LOL!!! Well, it'll grow back and now I know to be overly detailed in my explanation of what I want. As in putting it on paper and bringing in a pic. Thank you all so much for your help and advice. Next time I'm taking in a pic from one of my books that shows exactly what I want so that the groomer gives me what I ask for! |
