| Rude Petsmart Employee We stopped at a different Petsmart than we normally go to yesterday. I have been on the search for this cute little dress that matches Susanah's blanket. FOUND ONE in her size finally! Yay! So we were checking out and the cashier tells me he is against putting clothes on dogs. Now, I'm they type who thinks opinions are like a**holes, everyone's got one and some of them stink so I just smiled at him. There are a lot of people where I live who think I am a little nuts because of Susanah's clothes, stroller, playpen, diaper bag, etc. THEN HE GOES ON TO SAY "You do realize it's a DOG, not a baby, right?" and a lot of other things (something about feeling sorry for it and how it would never experience any joy) that I didn't really hear because I was busy trying not to cry and was just shocked. First that he kept referring to my baby as "IT", and second that an employee would say those things to a customer. Luckily DH was with me, and he pulled me by the arm straight to the manager. (dh was slightly p*ssed). He explained what had happened because by this time I'd started to cry (I think its the new hormones they have me on because I'll cry if you look at me too hard lately - can we say oversensitive? lol) The manager apologized and gave me a kleenex and a petsmart gift certificate. When we left he went straight to the cashier and was talking to him. Needless to say, we will not be visiting that particular Petsmart again.

| Sheeesh!! Some people are just idiots!!! I really dislike it when ANY cashier or store employee makes comments about what I am buying, no matter if it is groceries, clothes, pet stuff or whatever. That was just plain rude. Please don't take it personally. You love your Yorkie, and you don't need to explain or defend that to anyone. Some people just don't get it, there is nothing we can do about that. It was very big of you to refrain from hitting the guy . I don't know that I would have been able to avoid some kind of smart**s remark back to him

| I am so sorry you had to deal with that. I had the EXACT same thing happen to me at my local PETCO. I was trying a sweater that was on sale on Holly. But the employee asked me if my dogs were ok. He said my dogs looked scared to be getting clothes put on them and just talked down to me and it made me feel like crying. I know just how you feel. The nerve of people! I am glad your hubby was there to take you to the manager. I wa sjust so embarrased I left |

| Mine was $25 too. I won't be spending it at THAT Petsmart though. We'll go to our regular one. They all know us there and understand about Susanah. I'm glad my DH was there too. Otherwise I probably would have just left and cried in the car.

Bella Boo & Diggy Too! Donating GS Member | Awww Graleyne, how RUDE! As much as I would love a 25$ gift cert. I cannot say I have had a rude experiance at petsmart yet. It seems to me the same ole story of people being afraid to admit they do not take as good care of thier "IT" feeling the need to downgrade your efforts. I always try to consider the source. He probably has dogs that he keeps outside and has never experianced the snuggling in bed, the lap naps, and the joy of opening your heart to a baby (not an it) and letting your love go. People love to hurt you for haing what they don't....good ole jealousy and what you have my freind is a big heart and your a great mom! Keep on pampering them and do it with a big ole smile! And next time dont cry when they say You do realize its a dog dont you?? Say yes, and I am glad to say he came from a different breeder than you did, my baby has much more common sense than your lines seem to have in them.....

| I considered calling the customer service line this morning because now that I'm done being shocked and finished crying, I'm angry. However, the manager was talking to him as we were leaving so I consider the matter already settled. We just won't shop there again.

| What an idiot. Their suppose to be selling products not critizing their customers. If I was the manager I would have fired him. |

| This one wasn't in Georgia. It was the one in Anniston, AL. It's a new store and is very nice inside. I was actually impressed with the store itself. We just had the issue with the cashier. Nice to meet another YTer from Georgia! There are quite a few of us on here!
