| Last summer we had gone to Cincinnati to visit a family friend and had taken Tyke (our seven year old Yorkie) with us...well it happened to be the big Cicado season down there (every 17 years MILLIONS of these gross disgusting nasty LOUD bugs come out...I swear it looks like the tree branches are MOVING when in fact its these bugs crawling all over...and it's so LOUD)...well we let Tyke out one time to go sit on the back porch with a friend and he ended up eating about 20+ Cicadas that night...I saw him pouncing but didn't think he was eating them...I just saw him pouncing and playing with them...that night he got sick and yah there were definately things resembling Cicadas Everytime we took him out he would constantly pounce on the bugs. I ended up having to stop taking him on walks because he would stop and play with the bugs and try to eat them. It was DISGUSTING!! Every night for a week he would get at LEAST six or seven bugs in his tummy because everytime we would turn around to do something he'd get one. GROSS Melissa |

| guish you all would never make it in this part of the country. roaches every where. i keep them under control by using the good ole' 20 mule team borax. i was worried about my dogs getting sick. i keep that stuff under all the furniture , bottom of closets and around the garage so i called the company and asked them how safe it is to have around yorkies. they said if they ingest a little of it their stomach will get a little irritated. i make sure it is kept out of their reach. but it does work to keep the bugs out.
