| I had a friend that did a few months in Austria with a study abroad program. She used to write about how shocked she was when eating out and people would have dogs of all sizes eating with them. I would be in heaven if I could take both of my dogs places! Locally the only places I have found that I can take my dogs are: Lowes Pet store-BUT they sell puppies so we avoid it. the "farm store" which has a bunch of pet stuff as well as horse and general farm stuff. My kids love it!

I do have to admit, I usually have the American mindset of "don't bring the dog in a store, especially a place with food". But, after getting my big boy first and taking him everywhere (the Japanese LOVE big dogs) and getting him lavished with attention, it was only natural Turbo went with us too. I feel bad when I leave either one of them home. They get sad looks on their faces. But, the humidity/heat out here is insane some days... or it is raining/snowing so they stay home inside. Those days suck.
