| Mineral Oil has not worked yet for constipation????? Gave Hallee and Gracie mineral oil about 2 hours ago. Gracie already poo'd, but still waiting on Hallee. Just wondering how long it should take for it to kick in. We actually called the vet and they said 1/2 tsp for each dog and would work in about an hour. We mixed it with a little carrot baby food to get them to eat it. Hubby has been playing with them to keep them active in hopes Hallee will poo. Recap from previous post: last time Hallee def. poo'd was Tuesday night. One of them went one time on Wednesday and the other one time very early this morning. We do not know if Halle poo'd or Gracie those two days. If she does not go tonight will give her mineral oil again in the morning and if nothing looks like we will have to get her into the vet.

| Yes, Hallee finally poo'd about midnight. Now I am not so worried. Will keep an eye on them today. Can't believe we can be so excited about them poo'ing.

| If you give your liitle ones, Applesauce, pumpkin, and there is a few more cant think of right now, but to keep Max regular I give him about 1/2 TSP of applesuce everyday as a treat and he will be 2 in Sept. and he has never been constipated.

Anyway, a little cooked oatmeal in their food should help. Only about a teaspoon each and only a couple of meals or they could get too loose. As was suggested, tinned pure pumpkin is a good option for both diahrrea or constipation. | |
