Ok. I had the WORST experience today going to get Dakota. When we got there the breeder showed me her and her face look funny. The breeder assured that she was a purebred. So I started checking her out and she was infested with fleas, which drove me up the wall. Then I look on her back and she had 3 sore spots, and the breeder said "It must be from fleas" I never knew fleas to give you a sore spot..?? Then I looked at her private area and I saw where this skin was peeled off.. It was a rash... UUHHH!!! So those 3 thigns really made me mad, so I didn't get her

. I think I have just decided to just have one furbabY!!! Was I being picky, or looking for things that I should be looking for?

well yorkies change looks a lot....what made her not look pure to you?? were the parents there? Im sorry to hear she wasnt what you expected. Did she (breeder) offer a health guarantee? A rash and fleas are easily cured in most cases maybe ask if you can take her to the vet first and have the vet check her and maybe see what they think? I just feel really bad for you and dont want you to give up to soon....or doubt yourself. Im sorry for your bad experiance.

Her face, it looked like it was a mix puppy. She offered a health guarentee, but I didn't want to bring her home with fleas and then Aubrey gets fleas and then the two cats get them.. I just thought it was best. Plus I was a little in doubt, so I will just wait it out!

aww...I'm sorry. You must be so disappointed.

But I agree, if you had any doubts and didn't feel comfortable with the puppy you did the right thing by not taking her.

I'm sorry about your negative experience, I know you must be really disappointed. I think that if you didn't feel right, then you did the right thing. It sounds like the flea problem was pretty bad since the puppy had sore spots, probably from scratching. Poor little baby.

The right puppy will come along, and when he/she does, you will know it.
