|  Pissed Off My husband and I went to dinner with his parents last night. We were talking about Izzy and his mom said "yorkies are fu-fu dogs". I just about blew through the roof. I hate that stereotype! Plus, Izzy is not "fu-fu" at all...she is more of a daddy's girl/tomboy...she loves to roughhouse around and there is nothing dainty about her right now. Also, we are starting puppy kindergarten this week and his parents were like "we are glad you are starting that...it will be good for everyone" what does that mean?? She's not out of control...just a normal puppy that likes attention and bounces a lot. Anyways I just had to vent....

|  I must not read enough as I have never heard of yorkies refered to as "fu-fu dogs"  I bet you were biting your tongue NOT to say anything NASTY to her remark  |

| It's just amazing how many stupid comments come out of peoples mouths when talking about Yorkies - I've never heard so much nonsense....... We all have to learn to smile and not give these ignorant people any satisfaction of getting us down. We know how good we have it - and they may just be a bit jealous - |

| But its like no big deal if you own a big dog...no one harasses my brother for having two chocolate labs! But if you own a small dog(gasp) well then you must be a high maintenance person who just cares about showing off your pet.

| Awww man.....dont you love the nasty comments! UGH!!! My MIL say's crap like that too. I used to not say anything, but I cannot hold it in anymore. It just rolls out and I cant control myself. Hmmmmm I wonder why she doesnt come over very much anymore? LOL Hubby does not mind much cause she is his step-MIL.... |

| I think my mother in law is just jealous...really...because she has a lasso apso(sp?) and that dog is a terror(dont ever get one of those)...i mean she bit my toe...drew blood last thanksgiving... and yes i would love for izzy to be "fu-fu" maybe she will be one day if she ever stops biting and chewing EVERYTHING we own.

| Fu Fu doesn't describe my yorkie at all. More like rough-and-tumble. She isn't afraid of anyting and thinks she is a big dog.
