| What could of been wrong ?? My little Hannah woke us last night at 3am.. she stays in the kitchen..she doesn't have the run of the house just yet..Hannah is 7 months old now, and we have never had her do this before. She started scratching at the door that leads to the upstairs to our room... she was crying and barking, and scratching on the floor and the door.. we went down and my husband took her out thinking maybe she just needs to go potty.. we then went back to bed and this continued for 3 hours.. when I got up this morning there was blood on the door and on the floor.. she had cut the bottom of her paw. I wanted to bring her up to bed with us when all this started.. but thought that if I did.. she would then think.. aww.. all I have to do is cry and bark and mom and dad come get me and bring me to bed with them.. after talking to friends at work , they thought maybe she had gotten scared and wanted to get to us. I felt so bad.. she has never done this before. I will let you know what happens tonight..I hope she sleeps all night.. my husband already said that if she does it again.. she is coming to bed with us.. she is our little baby .. we love her so much.. I want another one.. another little girl.. let me know what you all like for a girls name.. I like something that you don't hear often.. Jen " Everyone should have a Yorkie " |

| I agree with Marci. If your totally against her being in the bed, can you somehow confine her in your room so she's closer. Mine sleep with me, I tried to crate Otis when I got him but I wasn't strong enough to let him cry!! Good luck, hope you find a solution

| You could try putting her in a crate by your bed so that she can still see you if you don't want her to sleep with you. How are her little paws today? Good luck tonight!

| We have had out little man for 8 weeks..time flys! We move his crate into the room with us at night so he can hear us. Plus we have sliding door so in the beginning middle of the night potty was easier. Now he can go all night and some nights he will cry for a minute or two then settle back down when he hears our voice. We also got some great advice! He has a stuffed animal dog his size in the crate and he lays on him every night! Someone told about us that when we brought him home and it worked wonders. I would love for him to sleep with us but our bed is high and the breeder said he will jump off and get hurt so he is only up on it when I am awake. |

| Thanks everyone for the comments. Hannah was fine last night. Her paw was fine yesterday morning. We think something must of scared her and she was trying to get to us. We have 2 siamese cats also.. they could of scared her some how or maybe she heard something outside or had a dream.I don't and wouldn't mind her sleeping with us at all.. I just want her completely house broken first. We have old hardwood floors ,, would be hard to get cleaned up if she went peepee on them. Also , it would scare me if she slept with us.. our bed is high off the floor.. I wouldn't sleep , scared she would fall off . We were prepared to bring her to bed with us if she did it again last night.. but she slept through the night just fine. She is such a sweet thing..we wouldn't give her up for anything..they are just the best dogs aren't they ? I'm working hard on trying to talk hubby into another little girl down the road. I plan on contacting the breeder we got Hannah from ,to put our name on the waiting list for the next litter. I want another one so bad.. I was thinking of the name Emma... but not sure yet. |

| My two sleep with me, and believe it or not it's the only time they don't have accidents. I think their just really content. Take the little one to bed with you, and get a good nights rest. |

| Hannah has been fine , just that one night. We think something must of been outside and it scared her. They say that dogs sense things really well. There might of been a bear outside. We still think she was so scared and she was trying to get to us. We feel so bad now for not understanding what was wrong. We will take her to bed with us if ever she does it again. I have these names picked out so far.. Skylar Dawn, Angle Girl, Emilee, and the latest one that I am loving is Summerlyn. Jen |
