| Copycat? Reading Julz post I realized Im also a copycat. My sister had a Yorkie male named Gucci. I wanted him but my sister sold him to another family because she didnt wanted to fly him from Georgia to NYC. She sold him 4 years ago, we were so sad. SO when we got the chance to get our own Yorkie we decided to name her Gucci in memory and love towards my sis Yorkie. My sister didn't mind at all but my youngest sister was mad and called me copycat. Im glad my oldest sis, the owner of the previous Gucci) didnt mind. She came to visit on April and she was crazy playing with Gucci and now wants to get another. Well she wishes , but since they are going to be moving and travelling a lot out of the country they cant. |

| What is she, three years old? Doesn't she have any originality? Wow...I would be really mad if someone I knew got a Yorkie and named him "Otis." However, if they named their human baby "Otis," I wouldn't mind. |

| Even though you don't like that she stole Stewie's name, I would take it as a compliment. She loved your Yorkie so much that she got one and she loved your baby's name so much, she named hers that. Think of it as her saying "I love the anme you chose and I love your Yorkie. I want mine to be just like yours" It may seem annoying that she copied you, but just think positive and take it as a compliment. ya know? And by the way, there will only be 1 Stewie to all of us YorkieTalkers. He is our one and only! |

| Yup, I'd take Kristy's position and never let the original Stewie (which is a sweet, unique, cool name) play with fake knock-off Stewie (sorry, no knock on you Stewie, but your Mom ain't too cool for doing what she did)... |

Donating YT 14K Club Member | well, I just hope that this doesn't cause problems in your friendship. Best friends are hard to come by. Maybe after she saw your reaction, she will reconsider her pup's name...for the sake of the friendship.

| I was just thinking, I hope she doesn't change her name to Kristy? Maybe she is trying to get your friend to like her better. I would ask my friend to call your dog Stewie, and the other dog something else, like Number 2. (just to avoid confusion when she is talking about real Stewie all the time.)

| I agree it is a big compliment, BUT and thats a BIG but, why cant some people just be original? Im mean no matter how much I like a name that belongs to someone elses pet, I would never copy it. Even if it was the most beautiful name in the world! Well unless I knew I would never see that person again than MAYBE. But to me Uniqueness is the great thing about life!! Cause your not like everyone else!! |

But to name her dog Stewie is soo funny! obviously Stewie is very unique! your actually the first person i know with a dog named Stewie! |
