| Daughter at camp, pup is distressed! What can I do? My little guy, Scampers, loves his "sister" she is 12. They are close!!!! Shes only been gone 2 days and I am amazed at what a mess he is. He is chewing more, barking whining when he is put in his spot. (We have a gated area inside for when we leave for short intervals) Potty accidents all day. I have been loving on him, doing and saying the same things my daughter does. It is so sad. Any advice? Especially about the accidents?SHould I go back to paper training? He totally reverted. Thank you so much for your advice. Tiffany |

| I would put something in his area that smells like her. Some clothes that haven't been washed yet, a blanket, or maybe one of her pillows. Being able to smell her will comfort him some.

| awwww poor little guy! If you have a blanket that she has used, a pillow or some clothing that hasn't been laundered yet, that might help. Jake had separation anxiety when I first went back to work after being off for awhile, so I give him the blanket that I use when I'm lounging on the couch watching tv. It has helped ALOT! Now he knows that when he sees me getting ready for work, he can just go lay on the blanket. I think it's actually HIS now lol. Good luck, I hope he settles soon. He misses his sister, that's so sweet. But, it's also sad at the same time because they just get sooooo sad acting and that's hard!
