Thanks for the offer. :) If we see we need some help it's nice to have a back up. Maya is leaving Ohio on Aug 6 and arriving in Dallas on Aug 9. We haven't decided yet if she is leaving on the 9th or the 11th for Waco and then on to Austin.

Actually, we lived in Paris Tn for 3 years. I really miss it. My grandparents live there so we are going to make the trip down count and I am going to spend a day with my 87 year old grandpa. I haven't seen him in over a year.

I would LOVE to see some of Nashville while we are there!! how early on the 7th would you like to meet? I have been through Nashville, but not really in it.

Thanks Denise. I know my daughter will be thrilled to hear that we have all pulled together to get her furbaby to her. She knew when she left on her missions trip that it was a possibility. I sent her an email about the trip and should hear from her as soon as she is near a place with an internet connection. She's so excited to get a puppy.

I don't know if that would help..are you getting off the train and gettting back on it in Jackson? Since you said you would be coming through Jackson?

Where is this little baby coming from again?

Is the train ride cheaper..never been on a train?

Hey Angie - I'm chuckling at your post - it's so cute! :) The YT train is a figure of speech. We asked for volunteers to help drive a pup from it's breeder in Ohio to it's new mommie in Austin, Texas.

Alycia, the owner of the pup's mom, is bringing the pup (Maya) from eastern Ohio to Nashville TN and then another YTer is taking her from Nashville to Dallas and then another YTer is taking her from Dallas to Waco where they will meet the new mommie who will take Maya the pup home to Austin. The new mommie is my daughter.

Just bumping this up as the time for the train to leave the station draws nearer.

Singrgirl will be home Thursday from Guatemala and we'll finalize the plans this weekend for picking Maya up in Texas.

Everyone has been so great to offer help and prayers and a cheerleading section. I'll update again after I talk with her and her DH.

I am so excited to meet Alycia, she is super sweet and I will get the opportunity to meet 2 of her puppies :) I am very excited about getting to meet her...I love meeting YT'ers :) I am really looking forward to having a puppy around for a couple of days...I know Maggie will just LOVE it. She really enjoys having pups her size to run with :)

Mandee I was so worried for Little maggie. I hope that lil leg heals fast and true. I have had a pup break a leg . Daisy when she was really Tiny just a week old or so mama layed on her and broke her leg :( No one even knew till she was older and I had her leg xrayed. She is just fine today just a little short in one leg.
like 1/4 inch.

I was worried you would miss your trip too ,but more worried for maggie. Glad she'll be ok.

you are so sweet!!!! everyone will be just fine. we will do regular x-ray's to make sure everything is going as it should. the dr will do one right before our trip, and this way we will be able to still make the trip. If for some reason, he decided he does not want maggie to travel, my best friend will keep her for us. it will all work out :)

It is with me....I am not sure if we are going to be able to make it to TN....the childcare arrangements we had in place just backed out on us.
