Update on YT train drivers
 
Ok, this is what we have so far. the beginning and the end are covered. We still need most of the middle covered.

Willow can take Maya to Cinncinati and then on the next day on to Louisville.
An possible offer from Louisville to possibly Nashville.
Pepe mint offered to take her from Nashville to Jackson
Still need Jackson to Memphis
Still need Memphis to Little rock
Still need Little Rock to Texarkana
MyFairLacy offered to take Maya from Texarkana to Dallas
Still need Dallas to Waco
Judy in Waco offered to take Maya from Waco to Austin -
Patty offered to help transport north of Texas but we probably won't need that.

Thanks everyone for the offers for driving and thoughts and prayers.

I can't help out with any of the legs but I will definitely help by being the best cheerleader and by sending prayers for a safe journey!

I need to work out some details, but I am considering switching. I would like to go to the DFW meetup, and I'm trying to work that out. (I have to figure out Gizmo's shots and such.) If so, I can drive her from Dallas to Waco. Then, someone else can pick her up from me in Waco and take her to Austin.

Let me get back to you, but that might be a good plan.

Great! another yorkie train, that's awesome! I'm in Florida, so I can't help with the transportation, although maybe there are other ways to help. Hope we can find the people needed to make this happen :)

awww, wish I could help! But the train starts out 4 hours to my west and moves further away. It's amazing how much of this route has been decided in such a short time. I believe its just a matter of time until the entire trip is worked out. Great work Lori!!!! Can't wait to cheer on the Yorkie Train!!!

ok...i just saw the time frame for this. get this...i am planning a trip to dallas texas on the 2nd weekend in August. I will be heading to Dallas that Thursday and on Saturday, heading to Waco. If it could happen then, I would be more than happy to take the pup with me from Bowling Green to either Dallas or Waco.

let me add...i am PLANNING a trip that weekend. that looks like the only weekend I can go and i really need to go see my mom before my dd school starts. those plans can change but i should know i the next couple of days for sure.

Are you serious?!! If so, I might be able to talk to the hubby and convince him that we should just drive her on into Bowling Green!! That might be a lot easier on Maya too because it would be less people she is handed off to!!! I am thinking less stressful for her, ya know?

i live in Nashville...so I can DEFINITELY get her from nashville. but BG is not too awful far and I can go get her from there as well.

Well my grandparents live in Paris Tennessee. I think that is about an hour North West of Nashville, but if hubby doesn't want to make the trip I know that my MOM will because she wants to see her dad (and she would prolly take her car) and I could ride along...I will talk to my mom today and see what we can come up with. As long as I can provide her with the gas $ for the trip I am sure we could do it. As long as she has the date free!!!

And I won't make just a 1-2 day trip to Tenn...I could see us spending a week there so there would be plenty of time to figure out how to get the pup to you in Nashville. :D

I promise I will talk to my mom today! (within the hour actually!)

I can drive from Dallas to Waco so that leg is taken care of. I live north of Dallas so I probably somehow got confused when I was posting...not the first time:D Patty

Coordinator or driver, doesnt matter you allways get these things started and accomplished. Someday I may call on you as I cant even get a baby shipped to me, airport is 5 hour (For us old folks) drive. You can always pull it off for the love of Yorkies and their new mamas.
My main point is Daisy Mae is an amazing and loving, careing person and

OMG I am :embarasse. I just love to help I will take my Bow. I have always loved Giving and the joy I get in return is the best. I don't ask for anything, the love and happiness I get in return ar more than Enough for me. I guess I don't feel Amazing ,I feel that everyone should be this way.
I just love giving anything I can and if I can incurage others to be a little more giving than I will feel even better.

Ok......I think i've caught up now!
YT is so huge and so fast moving sometimes i do get a little lost!

I think what you are all doing is amazing! i sometimes wish i lived in America with friends like you guys.

How many miles will this pup be covering all in all?

Maya will be traveling about 1300 miles give or take a few! A well-traveled pup.;)

I'm always lost on here and never seem to catch up. There's always someone posting about something that I missed.:D
