Donny Osmond had (has?) one named Spike, but I think he's passed away.

and she's not really a "celebrity," but one of my favorite Broadway actresses, Eden Espinosa, has a yorkie named Owen.

If anyone gets the Yorkshire Terrier Magazine from the YTCA, there is a pic of Montel Williams and his yorkie in one of the back issues. (in the back) where they have a group of snap shots together. They sell back issues but it could go back 5 or 10 years, its been quite awhile. Can't seem to find it on google.

People seem to forget that I researched getting a yorkie for a year and the yorkie breed was the one that fit my lifestyle the best, and that I want a furbaby to love!

Just because I'm young I am automatically put in that category of mindless wastes of space who only get yorkies to match their outfits.

I totally sympathize with you!!! Everyone made fun of me for wanting a yorkie. I don't know how old you are, i'm 25, and i get the comments about "purse dogs" and "just like paris" all the time MEANWHILE when i was young i had a toy that got me interested in Yorkies. I can't remember the name but a line of toys came out, they were all different breeds of dogs with rubberized/plastic bodies and they had barbie like hair, I had a Yorkie with a top knot. I moved 3 weeks ago and finally found my yorkie, it definitely looks close to 20 years old, but i will do my best to find it again, clean it up and post pictures. I even told my husband about it and he didn't believe me until I found it! My mom remembered it because i was too young to pronounce Yorkshire Terrier without butchering it! haha

I was at a BBQ the other day and their were lots of dogs there..a Westie, Labrador, Boxer and a king charles. We were talking about dogs and my husband mentioned that i was looking for another Yorkie.a couple of people pulled faces as if to say 'what do you want one of those for'? and that i had been shopping and bought a carrier and some little T-shirts etc....well...everyone was in stitches and howling with laughter just because i had bought some T-shirts! I said my Heidi had worn T-shirts because she was so little and when she became elderly her hair became very thin and she needed to keep warm.
I was NOT happy that they were laughing at me!
