People seem to forget that I researched getting a yorkie for a year and the yorkie breed was the one that fit my lifestyle the best, and that I want a furbaby to love!
Just because I'm young I am automatically put in that category of mindless wastes of space who only get yorkies to match their outfits.

I totally sympathize with you!!! Everyone made fun of me for wanting a yorkie. I don't know how old you are, i'm 25, and i get the comments about "purse dogs" and "just like paris" all the time MEANWHILE when i was young i had a toy that got me interested in Yorkies. I can't remember the name but a line of toys came out, they were all different breeds of dogs with rubberized/plastic bodies and they had barbie like hair, I had a Yorkie with a top knot. I moved 3 weeks ago and finally found my yorkie, it definitely looks close to 20 years old, but i will do my best to find it again, clean it up and post pictures. I even told my husband about it and he didn't believe me until I found it! My mom remembered it because i was too young to pronounce Yorkshire Terrier without butchering it! haha
