I wanted a yorkie since i was 10! i always grew up with german shepards! Lola was my 21st birthday gift

Well, I really couldn't care less about Yorkies until I saw that Paris and Britney had them....totally kidding!

My friend in high school had one and I fell in love with Toby! Being allergic to most dogs and having gotten to know Toby made me really want a Yorkie and that was 12 years ago. Plus, they are absolutely adorable!

I ahve always had large dogs and when my son went off to school and took his lab with him I needed something to help fill the void.

That my son left---not the lab. LOL-----lovely dog, I just never let myself bond with him, it was my son's dog since my son was 5.

I did a LOT of research on breeds. I wanted a small dog so travel, clean-up and such would be managable and fit into my & Hubster's life style.

I choose a Yorkie because they are big dogs mentally crammed into a lttle dogs body.

What I didn't count on:

The incredible amount of happiness he brings into our lives each and every minute of every day.

He moves through this world with immense joy and enthusiasm.

It is uncontrolably contaigiuos!
