How rude!
One of the reasons I love dogs so much is the fact, they accept us as we are..I wonder if a dog ever thought they have an ugly human? If it happens again, tell the person you want see their pedigree before they criticize your dogs..

First off, I think the lady that commented to your mother about your Yorkie...is just plain rude. Second, I loved pea496's answer...yes, your right he's part lab!!! But honestly, most of us do not have show quality Yorkies, but that doesn't make us love them any less, they are...yours included...all precious in their own right, and they are all Yorkies!!!

Hahahahahaha . . . . great come back. Yorkies are like Bichons. I know 8 pound Bichons and 30+ pounders and all of them have registration papers and are pure bred. Gosh, don't people have enough sense to see that even the same breed of dog comes in a lot of different sizes, just like people! Sometimes I am amazed at the stupidity of people. I think if someone questioned the breeding of my dog I might question their breeding too. We had friends years ago who had a Shetland Sheepdog and they swore he was a miniature collie. I said there was no such thing as a miniature collie and they said they had papers for him. I suggested they look at those papers, and sure enough, he was a Shetland Sheepdog. I don't think registration papers come saying "teacup" Yorkies either. People are funnier than anybody!

Don't let this ignorant lady get ya down. I have a flop earred, 9 pound, cotton coated, long legged yorkie boy. He couldn't be more perfect in my eyes. Maybe next time suggest the lady come on to YT and educate herself on the breed!!!!! We'll be glad to enlighten her!!!
