Reading your post brought to mind the following. Wanted to say something about the concerns of lazy eye when it comes to humans. So often this is misdiagnosed in children. Lazy eye in humans is often mistaken for disease of the Cornea, Keratoconus= Conical protrusion of the center of the Cornea. Without inflammation. Lots of individuals that are diagnosed with lazy eye in children, actually have Keratoconus, and if an eye specialist has the proper equipment they can detect it. Not all Opthamologist have the microscopic lens to detect this. Vision is one horrible big blur with Keratoconus, for myself, I was mistakenly told I had lazy eye in my right eye all my life. Eye glasses can not help to see better, as the center of the cornea the cone can change shape The alternative is to wear HARD contacts lens (when it is too advanced the hard contact lens cannot be used)or as in my case to have a cornea transplant which I was not able to have done. This eye disease is hereditary, our Grandaughter was diagnosed with it, it happens to be on both sides of the family, son-in-laws Dad had it too. He had the cornea transplants. All the above is from my own personal experience, and just wanting to let others know of Keratoconus, as it is often over looked and people need to know that it exists and that it is quite common. Sorry for the larger print but my left eye still isn't back to seeing as needed, since having the stroke, but I am believing in God's time he will give back that which I lost. My hearing isn't improving but I can handle that, it is just my vision that I am praying about. Wishing you all a great day, smile God loves you.
