| I don't understand Why my babies won't play with other dogs. My son and DIL brought their Boston terrier (2 yr old female) and mini schnauzer puppy (11 wks) over last night to play with Lucy and Rebel. WELL, that bombed! Lucy and Reb wouldn't have anything to do with them. They stayed under my chair or in my lap the entire time they were there and Rebel didn't even bark. When we took them outside - same thing - my 2 completely ignored the other doggies. When my son, etc. left last night Lucy and Rebel came to life. They played and ran like crazies around the entire house. Why won't they play with other dogs? This isn't the first time this has happened

| I bet they would eventually if the visit was longer. Whenever I dogsit for my friends it usually takes them a day or 2 to get warmed up and feel comfortable.

| When we visit with my daughter and her 2 yorkies, it usually takes at least 2 days for them to all warm up to each other....but then, watch out!!!! They are like crazies, then, doing zoomies all over the house and up the stairs!

| LOL............My daughter has a Boston Terrier and I brought Trisket and Bailey down to visit and neither one of them wanted anything to do with it. Trisket would even sit facing the wall and his back to the dog to avoid looking at it. I dont think they liked those big bulging eyes or something. |

| Very particular..... Higgins is VERY particular about who he chooses to have as a furry -- or human -- friend. Just loves some dogs and people, ignores others, and turns into a Miniature Wire-Haired Rottweiller if a big dog is around, except his friend Chewy the Standard Poodle. He has a girlfriend he has known since puppyhood and he makes a FOOL of himself over her. Basically, she could care less about him and considers him a monumental pain in the butt. But he has remained devoted to her and brings his toys to share with her. She is half s**tzu and half Yorkie. Cute. My son got a tiny Long Haired Chihuahua a few months before we got Higgins. They ADORE one another!!! We took care of Princess for two weeks when they went on their honeymoon and she didn't want to go home when they came back. She and Higgins race and play together, sleep in a furry clump on my lap, and are just so wonderful together. Now they are in Maine and we are in Florida, so they don't get to see on another much. We'll be traveling up there this fall, so they'll get to see each other again. |

| Thanks everybody I told my son we need to get them together at least once a week and give them time to sort it all out. I'd like for them to play together and have fun. I have a great yard for them all to run around in safely and I'd like to take pictures of them all together.

Donating YT 11K Club Member | Do you take them to meetups and dog parks? That would help a ton! I take mine to yorkie meetups and they LOVE all dogs, they are ecstatic about them. London thinks that every dog wants to play with her LOL
