It's a Yorkie Thing Donating Member | Dukes eyes were always green. I was told once that it was because he had silkly hair and it they turn red he would have course hair. Is that true? Anyone know for sure? Not sure how Gizmo's turn yet. He hasn't looked at the camara long enough.

| This pic has been adjusted but Hoku's eyes do shine red and her coat is cottony and Kalani's shine green/blue and his coat is silky

| I have one of each! Betty's eyes are red...but her hair is soft, not cottony or matted at all. Juju's eyes are green. She is only 15 weeks old, but I guess she will be silky. But sometimes, she will have little mats or knots on her legs. She doesn't like it when I am brushing her and get to a spot with a tiny knot. She turns and looks at it and almost says, "That's enough, Mommy!" LOL!

| We don't know what coat Daisy has, will find out later when I pick her up from the groomer's. In pics, it's almost always green, if not blue green. Here's a pic:

| I was wondering about this myself. Kalina's eyes are always greenish in pictures. I guess that means a silky coat, but her coat now feels very, very thick and cottony to me. Here's a pic I took yesterday and maybe you can see the greenish cast to her eyes.

| Izzie's eye color has changed over the past couple months. They started out being blue in pics and have now turned to green. She's 5 months old so guess I'll have to wait and see :
