| Hair texture - and annoying mattes! Every other day or so, Sully will get a really fuzzy matte on his forehead! The rest of his coat hardly ever tangles.....but that hair on his head is so baby-fine that it mattes up in weird ways! Any advice on why this happens and anything I can do about it? Is it a "puppy" thing that he will 'grow' out of? (Though, he is 10mo. old now!) The 1st pic is of the matte. The 2nd pic is of Sully, very annoyed with me taking pictures. Perhaps, he's a little embarrassed, hehe.

| I pull Tino's back in a rubber/silicone band bc if I don't his will either knot up like Sully's or will get in his mouth! Does Sully rub his paws on the top of his head to rub his ears? It looks like that may be what's causing the mat. Tino is just a little older than Sully (13 months). Hey if you come to the meet up in Asheville, maybe Tino can give him some hair tips!

| LOL! That 2nd pic is too darn cute!! Max's hair gets like that too after he's rubbed his eyes with his paws. I decided to grow his hair out a little more so I can pull it up. I used to trim his bangs just above his eyes, that also helped.

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | Now THAT's A look that means business ....what a great face..I'm laughing as I type ! Chanel & Cheri both get that when they have their noses stuck in the fence -Does Sully spy by any chance on the neighbors ? I usually spray some Ice on Ice on my hand and smooth the hair down... |

| Those are very cute pictures. Loooove the look. Josie use to get the worse knots and tangles when she was younger. Now it seems like she hardly gets any. Maybe as he get's older it will be less and less.

Maggie's hair is at an odd length. Too long to leave alone, and too short for a top knot. Not much hair for a ribbon either. Where can I find tiny silicone rubber bands. I don't want to break her hair off. I had even thought of use those rubber bands that dentist hand out for use on braces.

| Why not put his hair on the stop of his head in a little rubber band or something. I put TJ's up now just to get him used to it so that when it is long enough, he won't be annoyed. Hopefully you figure something out. Good luck! |
