Every other day or so, Sully will get a really fuzzy matte on his forehead!

The rest of his coat hardly ever tangles.....but that hair on his head is so baby-fine that it mattes up in weird ways!

Any advice on why this happens and anything I can do about it? Is it a "puppy" thing that he will 'grow' out of? (Though, he is 10mo. old now!)

The 1st pic is of the matte.
The 2nd pic is of Sully, very annoyed with me taking pictures. Perhaps, he's a little embarrassed, hehe.
