| If it's just a little green goop, keep it wiped out and watch it. Lacy just recently was getting a little green goop in the corner of her eyes but it went away after a couple days and didn't progress to become too worrysome. However, if it is a constant problem..you wipe it and it comes back just a few minutes later, and you notice swollen, puffy eyes...it is probably an eye infection. Lacy has had a pretty bad eye infection before. It started with the green stuff and her eyes became swollen and puffy. If you pulled back her eye lids, the insides were very swollen and red. Her eyes would start crusting shut. I took her to the vet and got antibiotics and antibiotic eye ointment.

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | I agree - my cocker has chronic ear problems - which causes eye problems - With my yorkie girls - I've never seen any 'green goo' so your yorkie may have a little infection |

| Keep it washed out with distilled water and check to see if maybe the hair isn't causing this problem. I've seen it all too often in the fosters. They come in with the green stuff from having the hair irritating the eye. Don't cut the hair directly under or over the eye, as it causes it to just stab right into the eye when it grows. |
