| refuse to eat!!! HELP!!! Dear All, anyone out there is having problem feeding thier babies.... obviously i have big problem with 2 of mine. I've just bought a new puppy name bumble bee, seems like he is following his sister(eva) footstep, eva is 2+ this yr and she eats less thn 1 ounce a day!!!1 i've tried million of things yet she is not eating!!! all she wants is cooked food ... as far as i know cooked food does not have the equal balance of nutrition for them so i insist them to take thier kibbles! Now bumble is also not eating though he is slighty better thn his sister, 4 months pup eating 3 ounces a day but i realise he is not eating as much as i first brought him back home!!! anyone has solution or facing the same problem? some times it get very frustrated ..... |

My furkids Donating Member | I had this same problem with Sadie(3 yrs old now) when I first got her...I only bought good food for her. I never bought the grocery store brands. I tried so many different brands I didn't know what to do anymore. When I brought Lillie(13 months now) home I didn't like the food that she was on so I swithced her to Canidae all stages so both of them could eat it. I also bought the Canidae canned food. I mix about 2 tablespoons of the canned with the dry and pop it into the microwave for about 10 secs. mix it together so the canned coats the dry. Sadie LOVED it! In the beginning (with Sadie) I would boil chicken breast and cut it up in her kibbles. I would also add some cooked carrotts and green beans. this would entise her to eat but, she still wasn't as good an eater as I would have liked. Now with the Canidae I don't worry anymore. Good Luck! I know how frustrating this can be.

| Yea, ours was the same way. He didn't like the dry kibbles that the breeder gave us or the one that we bought. Once we added some wet food he ate it up. He's still picky, but we've bought some Nutri-Cal to give him as a supplement (extra calories and vitamins). Some say it'll help them with their appetite too. |

| Picky Picky. The more you give them human food the less they eat whats good for them. I sprinkle frozen Bil-jac on the dry food. Most of mine will eat that. It's also great for pilling. |

| Finicky little terrors...my Tilly will eat her canin in the morning with her scrambled egg....in the evening if I give it dry she turns her little nose up sometimes if I put cooked veg she will eat it but most times I have to wet it. I have tried her on so many dry foods but in the Uk most of the food mentioned on here is not available. |

| We went through lots of eating delimmas when we first got baby Oscar a few weeks ago. Emmy was on adult food and he was on puppy food. Neither wanted to eat his or her own food and I was going crazy worrying about it. Finally asked Yters and someone said to mix the 2 together. I did and at first they still would not eat it out of the bowls. I hand fed them for a few days--it was a pain, but at least I knew they were getting enough nourishment. Finally they both started eating out of the bowls again (after about a week of having Oscar). Now they both scarf food down, like there is no tomorrow. When they finish this mixed canister of (adult and puppy) food, I am switching them to the Canidae all stages. We had some samples of it and they LOVED it! I have just found a store in Jackson, MS that carries it. Good luck with your babies.

| I had the same prob. with my Bunny when I 1st got her. But I had to hand feed her to make sure she was eating. Try mixing some of there fave thing in to there dry food and see if that will help them to eat it. I use to do that when Bunny was a pup.. but scent I got Bella... Bunny wanted everything she had.. so after I got her, I really didnt have any prob. to get her to eat |

| Did it make her coat dry? I just got back from my vet because 1 of my girls has been eating recycled Bil-jac (gross)waits for one of the other dogs to poop & runs to eat it. Though she might need suppliment.Vet said no more Bil-Jac. She said to try Purina Pro Plan Select. What do ya'll think? |

| Maybe the puppies are trying to tell you something. Real food IS much healthier that dog food. Just home cook and you will keep them healthier longer. |
