| Do Dogs dream!?! Good morning from Scotland. New member, my wee 9 week old Sebo has been with us for 4 days, and apart from the gnawing of fingers, has mastered the 'sit nice' command and goes and does his business out in the garden (long may that continue) One thing that amuses me is his wimping and whinging sometimes when he's in a deep sleep, and occasional moving his paws and shaking! Which, has got me thinking! Is the wee man dreaming, and has anyone else experienced this behaviour? Many thanks! SEBO.... http://i11.tinypic.com/4lzyfb5.jpg |

| Baby does the same thing, so I would say yes, they do dream.

Phantom Queen Morrigan Donating Member | dogs do dream, or at least they experience REM sleep as do we. If you look closely you will probably see their eyes moving back and forth along with their paws twitching. morgan sometimes lets of a little 'yip' in her sleep. very cute.

| I think they dream. One of ours was doing it the other night. I also used to have a boxer that dreamed every night and would make little barks. I think it's cute when they dream |

| I've wondered the same. I've seen Jake shake his paws in his sleep and occasionally whimper. I wonder what they could dream about. |

| Archie sometimes makes little yipping noises in his sleep. I imagine he is dreaming and chasing or being chased by something. I have also heard him kind of bark in his sleep before.
