Shopping for my babies makes me happy

I'm in this club as well and my VISA statement will prove it!!! We have waaayyyy too many clothes that the girls never wear and two carriers that don't get used. As soon as I have some time, we will be having another closet sale!!!!!

And all you creative YTers - STOP making such darn cute stuff. We simply CANNOT buy anything until I get several large VISA payments made and get somewhat in control!!!!!

Well, they have TONS of the stores in Houston, which is about an hour and 1/2 from me. So today both my hubby AND my sister are in Houston (hubby's there for work, and my sister is visiting one of her friends). So I called the stores (I called THREE of them in Houston) and 2 of the stores had the dress, but didn't have the right size I needed....these were the stores that were closest to where my hubby is in Houston (mind you, Houston is HUGE). So then I thought to myself, wait a minute...my sister is there too, so I'll call the mall that is closest to where SHE is, lol!!! So I called that store and LOW AND BEHOLD, THEY HAVE THE DRESS IN TATE'S SIZE!!!! OMG, I was jumping for JOY! AND - they have it available in 2 different colors, so of course I am getting both being that it is so dang hard to get them, LOL.

SO....I call my sister on her cell and tell her that she better get her butt to the mall ASAP!!! LOL. Well, I was ECSTATIC to hear, THAT SHE WAS ALREADY THERE!!!! WOOHOO! I don't know why I was surprised, because my sister is a BIG shop-a-holic like I am, so I should have know that she would be at the mall already LOL.

Anyway, I told her to get her butt in that store and go buy me BOTH dresses, the lady put them on hold for me, LOL!!! So she is about to go in there and buy them for me...woohooo! Of course I will pay her back, but I am also going to get her to look at the other doggie things (I think they have some bows I want, LOL) and if she finds anything cute I'll tell her to grab them too!!

ALL THAT for a dang DOG DRESS!!!! LOL!

HAH. So, do you SEE how bad I am?? I mean I am BAD, BAD, BAD! I shop for these babies constantly, WAY more than I shop for myself! I seriously DO have a shopping problem when it comes to them...and I realise that. My hubby said that I seriously need help HE'S RIGHT! Hah!

I am such a shopaholic for mine too. It wasn't so bad when I had 1..then 2.. but now that I have 4 furbabies, it's getting harder because I want to buy them ALL something and feel guilty when I only get one something.

Plus, I'm trying to save and we've spent tons of money on redecorating our house so I have to budget my spending to like 50 a month on the furbabies , which includes vet savings, food, meds, and what tiny amount is left is for fun things.

Thank god I know how to sew.

Just curious what dress it was - who it was by? I know when I decide I want something I just have to have it too! LOL. I've gotten to where I can almost always tell you the brand of dog clothes when I see them (store bought)

lol i deff do to! I am a shopaholic I have clothes in my closet with tags on them... my bf used to yell at me babe stop! well now its the other way around no matter where i go I always go to the dog section first! I find myself when i am bored not looking for stuff online for me but for lola! shes so spoiled my dad even buys her clothes! theyre worth every penny tho!

It's funny, I am not much of a shopper. I just don't like it, and I really don't like the crowds of the malls or standing in line at some of the stores. But, I love love love shopping for my babies!!!!! I think it would be so much fun to win a shopping spree in a pet store!! I would go NUTS buying everything I could lol

My hubby and I recently went shopping for Jake's 1st birthday, and I had lots of fun!!! I bought him all kinds of stuff, and what's even more fun than shopping is coming home and giving him his new toys. He gets so excited and happy, I love it!!

I absolutely hate to clothes shop. But get me to a Petsmart or a Lowes and I will Look for hours at everything. I know I can't afford much so I'll write a wish list. Write the things down that I want and the price. sometimes I try to see if I can find it on line any cheaper. Even though I will never be able to afford most of it. It satisfies something inside me to write it down and the price. I guess it's like a goal or something. Should I ever end up with a lot of extra money, I'll just whip out my lists and buy, buy, buy!!!! (Like that will ever happen)
I have boys that don't really enjoy dressing up except for a sweater when it's cold.
