The only thing I see wrong is she is so stinkin cute it should be a crime!!! Bella had hair a lot like that she is now a cotton silky mix. Her sisters which are in my immediate family both have totally different coats. I have heard puppies take after the grandparents more than the parents. She is adorable! I have picks of Bella with the coarser hair, then a now pick....if you wanna see them let me know!

well in that case - If you feel she's healthy - just take her to the vet right away and get a checkup - - and ALL THE BEST to you with your new puppy !!! Congratulations :)

If you saw the parents that would be a fairly good indication of what the puppy may look like as an adult. I agree that the first thing to worry about is the health. You can thicken the coat up alot of times with proper nutrition and somethimes when you shave them down and get the puppy fur off the second coat will come in thicker and nicer.

I think she is Beautiful Hun I agree take her to a vet ight away and get her checked out. that way you can make sure she is Really healthy.

My first Yorkie had very thin fur and she was perfect in every way. I had her for 16 years. The boy I have now has the thick fluffy fur that mats so quickly. I preferred the thin coat my girl had. Now, she did seem to get cold in the winter...I just made sure I kept her warm.

I think her hair looks a little dry but you can't tell unless you touch her. The best advice On here is to take her to a vet in the same town she lives in.

I think she is adorable. If there is a health guarantee, take her to the vet immediately to get looked over. As far as her coat goes, I think with the right nutrition and proper care, she will have beautiful hair. It may not be super thick like some but I have seen many yorkies that do not have super thick hair and I think it is just beautiful. it lays so pretty. If you get a good feeling from talking to the breeder and you are willing to make the drive, then I don't see any harm in going to check her out.

Let us know what you decide!!!! Do you have a name picked out?

What a cutie pie!! I say the same thing...just take her to the vet asap...Im sure if she is coming from a breeder she should be in perfect health before she leaves with you...but she should be checked anyhow...good luck with your trip to get her and make sure you post tons of pictures!!

Hi, My charlie has the thiner type hair, silky but thin and he is alot easier to groom then my others:) stays cleaner longer and does not grow his coat out as fast,

She looks like a possible red leg to me..but it's hard to tell with the pictures that are posted. Red legs (or wire coats) will not grow as silky coated yorkies and their hair remains relatively short.

You said exactly what I was gonna say - Red Leg with Wirey coat.
My Lexi has a wirey combonation coat & seems to kinda look like a red leg to me.
If you want a long coat - she will never have that! Keep looking....
Here are a few pictures of Lexi - I Could not tell as a puppy she was gonna have a short coat!
1st 1/2 yrs old
2nd as a puppy
3rd at now at 22 mths old
4th at 1 yr old

Look very closely at the 3rd picture
Her hair on her back breaks off very easily & has to be conditioned every day.
