Donating YT 7000 Club Member | quick question....... Well, I got up this morning and of course went on yorkie talk! then i thought ok maybe i should go get tucker now(he usually wakes up around this time) i walked into my mom's room and he was on the floor. last night he was on the bed. the only thing i can think of is that he jumped. its a pretty high bed. he seems fine not limping or anything he's just running around beating up rusty and acting like tucker!! :-) i don't think there's anything wrong with him but is there any thing i should watch for? |

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | lol...He figured it out ...I would set up something so he doesn't have to jump from such a high distance... When Chanel first learned to jump off my bed I took a laundry basket - turned it upside down with a towel on top to keep it from being slippery and secured up against the bed....I picked her up and down till she knew it was her little step up and down...She never had to jump off the bed cause she would use the laundry basket...Good luck with your baby - he's officially a jumper now ! |

| Coffee and YT first thing in the morning is a beautiful way to start the day! So glad your Tucker didn't get hurt jumping off the bed. Schatzie has done the same before and I about had a heart attack. Now there are stairs of pillows for her when she decideds to take that route. She seems to think it's more fun to "jump", ugh!! (we need a emoticon of a flying Yorkie, lol )

| Simon and Hallie both jump off the bed (grrrrr.....) I set up a step for them with pillows but sometimes they still insist on jumping. Maybe your mom did put him down there, or maybe he got down on his own if he was hot. Hallie will lay on the floor when she gets hot sometimes. I'm glad he is ok and being rowdy as ever! |
