| Boobah-- JUST CHECKING IN TO SAY MY NEW YORKIE WILL BE 5 MOS. OLD ON JULY 16 AND SEEMS TO BE GETTING FRISKIER. SHE HAS LOTS OF ENERGY AND GETS ME GOING SOMETIMES TOO. HER HOUSEBREAKING HABITS ARE BECOMING BETTER AND SHE LOVES TO NIP AND TAKE SHORT BITES AND MY NOSE, MOUTH, ARMS. FOR SUCH A LITTLE PUPPY SHE HAS NEEDLE SHARP TEETH! THE VET TOLD ME TO HAVE HER SPADED AT 6 MONTHS. WHAT ARE YOUR COMMENTS? |

| Good ideas. Is her biting getting to be too much. I would not incourage biting you may run into problems that you don't want. Congrat on your new puppy.

| At least the housebreaking is working out. You have to yell OUCH and not play with her or ignore her if she bites. It takes time, but it's really important. I still have to yell at Max once in a while and he's over a year old. He thinks he's playing, but there's a limit to which I allow his teeth to touch me when we're playing. I play with him with his treats a lot so he can learn exactly whast those limits are.
