yeah, me and dh go our rounds about this. he will give his dog little tastes of almost anything. i freak out when i see him give things to maggie. he says "it is just a little bit" WHO CARES...don't do it. period. he just doesn't get that dogs shouldn't have everything we have. granted, he isn't as bad as the people you are talking about but he still tries to give them too much in my books

I have one of those kinds of husbands too! It really pisses me off, but I suppose it could be worse! Yesterday I saw him feed Emma bites of: a green olive, rice krispy bar, cracker (whole wheat, I think that's ok at least!), cereal, pasta, banana, and peanut butter! It's mostly healthy stuff, but still....

He doesn't feed Milli as much people food because her tummy is easily upset. Emma has a tummy of steel, "just like her daddy" he claims...and he definitely has a soft spot for her!
