| I know... all of this has me scared to death! I don't want to even let Lacy out of my sight! My coworker had her 4 dogs go missing last night (1 min pin, a pittbull and her 2 pittbull puppies). The dogs were outside and when she went to check her gate was wide open. She found her minpin at the shelter but the other three are still missing. She's pretty sure someone stole the other three. She had someone come by wanting to buy one of the puppies earlier in the day then they went missing. I know they aren't yorkies but just the fact that more dogs have gone missing and this is someone I know in person. This just all makes me so sad.

| I worried so much about this problem (My blood pressure was awlful} when I was trying to sell my pups. I had signs out and most new where they were. Thank you God for helping keep them safe and all find new homes. And no one has stolen my babies. But I keep them close to me at all times now and house lock tight when we are gone.

| I work at a dog boutique/grooming salon and Lacy is always there with me. The groomers were working on a pomeranian and its owner came to pick it up. The husband was outside in the truck and the lady was telling me how cute Lacy was and asked if she could show Lacy to her husband. I said, "sure if he comes inside." I highly doubt they would have taken off with Lacy since we had their dog but you never know...plus I just don't trust most people with my dog (what if she got away from her?). Just thought it was strange that she wanted to take my dog outside to show her husband. Anyway, the husband did come inside a few minutes later and saw her.

| That would be good. I think hearing stories helps us all be more careful in similar situations. |

| Its crazy. Im scared to even take mine outside. Yorkies are a very popular breed, so people think they can steel them and make profits off of them. |

Donating YT 500 Club Member | It's definitely not just you! This is really getting to be insane. I know that those of us on this site feel it so acutely when someone's baby goes missing. I don't know how I could possibly handle it. Luckily, not all of these babies are 'napped or otherwise fall into the hands of folks with sinister intentions. I keep reminding myself of the little guy who lives three or four blocks from my house and managed to break his pulley tie-out a few months ago. My mother happened to spot him on the four-lane roadway in front of my house and I went after him. Snickers ended up being a real sweetie and while returning from posting a found sign, I happened upon his family within a few hours. I keep hoping and praying that Zeke's story ends as happily. |

| It's so frightening!! I worry about this all the time. I don't have a front yard. I have a patio and I'm on the second floor, so no one can open a gate and steal them. But I do worry when I take them for walks which is why I carry 2 knives on me whenever I take them out (1 in my bra and 1 in my pocket). I pity the fool who tries to steal one of MY precious babies!

| Tell me about it! I am sooo scared of taking turbo on the plane to come back to the US. I am just terrified. He is going on the plane in the cabin with me! If not, I am taking a later flight! Plus, how people take kids too. I am already a person with anxiety disorders. This, my kids and my cars FREAK me out! |

| Autumn likes to go with us where ever we go and I feel really bad when I have to leave her at home, but unless we are going somewher furkid friendly mine don't go!! The other day my DH and I saw a Schnauzer in someone's car with the windows part way down in a Walmart parking lot and I had 2 thoughts 1...WAY to hot to be leaving a furbaby in the car and 2....THEY ARE JUST ASKING FOR SOMEONE TO STEAL THAT PRECIOUS BABY!!! I have to confess, I never gave it much thought about people stealing your pets or people leaving them in the car if they ran in a store for a few minutes until I got Autumn. I was distrusting of everyone who looked at her! I was terrified someone would steal her if I wasn't careful. First few months we had her, I took her everywhere...even snuck her into Walmart!!!
