| I was worried, so I took Max to the vet He's been acting very lethargic, not eating breakfast and not playing as much as usual. I sat down this morning to play with him, after he, again, didn't eat breakfast. He just went under the coffee table and went to sleep. He hasn't been eating breakfast for a bit over a week now, but he eats dinner. The vet checked him out and said he looks okay - nothing obvious was wrong. She said he may have an upset tummy and gave him a shot. He was not at all lethargic there! He stood there and barked his little head off at these huge dogs. Anyway, she said to keep an eye on him and to call her on Friday if here's no improvement. I bought him cottage cheese, which he loves, on the way home and he ate about 4 tablespoons, so that's good. She's not so concerned with the lethargy - it could be the heat. She wants his appetite to pick up. I'm a little nervous because she said if there's no improvement, we'll have to look further into it. That's scary!

Donating YT 500 Club Member | Sorry to hear Max hasn't been himself. (He is SO adorable, BTW.) Hopefully, whatever is wrong isn't serious and will right itself soon. Here's hoping ... |

| He was a year old in April. He also weighs 8 pounds, so he's substantial at least.

| Well, if it's hot where you live, maybe the blame is on the heat... at least my girls eat just a few kibbles during the whole day when it's summer time... I hope whatever is causing this to him will pass by very quickly... Maggie & Hannah send lots of yorkie kisses to Max.... |

Donating YT 3000 Club Member | I'm glad he's doing better! Sometimes we have to go to the vet to make sure it's nothing serious, just for peace of mind... |

| It's probably the heat. They get heated up pretty quick. Buddy likes to lick ice cubes which I give him supervised of course. Cools them down if needed. I also put ice cubes in his water.Although he's in AC when we walk in the heat even for alittle bit he's pooped when we get home and lays on the dinning room tile floor to cool off. Hope he feels like his old self soon. |

| I sure hope Max gets to feeling better soon. When they don't eat as usual all kinds of things pop into our minds for sure.

| Some days my Toby (16 months old) seems more tired then other days as well. Like people, some days he wants to just lay around and other days you can't keep up with him he's so active! That's another reason I got him a little sister to keep him entertained and moving. :^)

| I vote the heat. My babies eat less during the summer months but they will drink a lot more. Keep an eye on your baby, but I will guess he will be fine!

I think Max has got his groove back on, he's been perkier and munching on his cookies. I'm going to feed him dinner now. I think I'll spoil him and give him chicken and rice. He loves that. I'll let you know,

| You are so sweet.....it is so funny how we treat our children when we think they are a little under the weather. Our Lexie is very pregnant and this afternoon during thunderstorms she was a little scared and I just picked her up and we went and took a nap together, just the two of us and she just cuddled and cuddled that fat tummy and all of her with me. I just love my babies!!
