| Choking is one of my worst fears for our babies and I don't give greenies, rawhides or pigs ears. I am probably a bit over protective and paranoid, but I can't help it. These stories scare me too much. I recently had an incident with Chai when I gave her one of those dried chicken pieces they sell. She came to me scratching at her mouth and yelping, obviously in distress and, at first I couldn't tell what was wrong eith her and then I realized that the dried chicken piece was stuck on the roof of her mouth wedged between her teeth. I had to get my daughter to help me and we opened her mouth and pulled it out. Even that was scary and she wasn't choking! So glad Bentley is fine! | yeah it was def. a lesson learned! i know now i'm gonna have to watch him if he has things he might swallow.. i dont think there will be any long term damage.. we called the vet this morning and told him what had happened..and he said as long as he threw it back up he should be fine! He goes in next week for his last shots anyway so he will look at him then!
