Shy Doggy I have a 7 1/2 month puppy that is afraid of every dog and people. Yesterday was an event going in PR for dogs and I took my baby there. He was always behind me hiding . There were a lot of yorkir puppies but he was afraid even to go close to them. Could someone give me some advice that help him to not be afraid of everybody. PS I have him since he was 3 weeks old

Start slow I think the best way to introduce your dog to new people is slowly. Have a friend over just to play with your dog. Take him to a park to meet another friend with a dog. One at a time until he gets comfortable. Crowds can be too overwhelming at first.

did you just get your baby? We got Alexis about 3 weeks ago and she is just now coming out of her "shiness". Sometimes when dogs come to new homes they are scared and we see it as being shy.

My pup is 10 weeks old. She started to get scared of strangers, but as we kept on introducing her to more and more people, she became less fearful. In fact, the pup would want to play with people I approach first and greet/talk with...while she'd just stand attentively to those who just walk by us unless I speak to them, otherwise she just keeps staring until they're out of sight.

I would agree with you. I would bring him around another dog, but I would stay close and just let him know that everything is ok. Good luck. Keep us posted on how he is doing.
