| My Yorkie makes me angry at people who don't seem to respect him the way I do. The other day a very good friend of mine stopped by to use my computer - which is located in my bedroom. Baxter - my puppy - was hanging out on my bed and was quite excited to see my friend. She walked over to the bed - and he jumped up to say hello - and she moved...... - yep she moved and poor Baxter fell off my bed to the hard wood floor. (My bed is pretty high) - That wasn't even the worse of it - It was when she looked down and said - oh - he fell - I was outraged. He just fell and is lying on the floor and you don't even move to help - or say sorry- I mean accidents do happen. A little later he was jumping up again and I was going to stop him and she says - Oh leave him - he's making up with me - SAY WHAT - you should be making up with him. I was shocked that she reacted the way she did - no urgency - just la de da - Sorry so long - just needed to vent. |

YT 500 Club Member | How RUDE! To allow a little animal (your baby) to fall and not even show concern! Are you sure this is a friend? By now I would think she would know how much this little baby means to you and respect you enough to show concern. Is your baby okay?

| I would have made a big deal of it and ,even if your baby was ok , I would have said no time for my computer..I need to take him to the vet...he isn't acting right after that big fall! I would have unplugged the computer.

| Someone would have gotten a punch in the head. Luckily all of my friends adore my little fur monster no matter how hyper she gets. And as far as someone asking me to crate her.....hells no. They can keep their happy selves at their house. This is Britain's house and she can go where she wants. I dont ask you to crate your children when I come over and she is my baby she comes first. |

| Yes - Thank God - Baxter was fine - I think I was more shaken up than he was lol - My husband happened to come in the room when this happened - he feels the same way I do - I kind of think she knows how I feel about my pup - I say it all the time - and she just laughs at me - I guess you just don't know whats it like unless you own one. |

| I feel the same way you do. We were having a discussion at work today, and we are preparing for if we have a hurricane, etc. Our manager said that we have to have a place to house pets when people come to work because some people will not leave their animals at home to go to work (nurses, etc.). I said I would not blame them because I would not leave my Conner at home alone during a hurricane. I said that it was a lesson learned during the hurricane in New Orleans. Some people would not evacuate because they could not take their animals. Now there are arrangements for people with animals. Another woman pipes up and says he is not a person and you are crazy if you do not leave him. I could not believe this. Of course, this is a person who does not have a dog and, I believe, never has had one. I said that Conner is part of the family and I would never leave a family member behind!!!

| I agree with Luna's momma, she is no friend at all, especially by not even trying to stop your pup from falling. There is no way in hell I would've been this casual about it. What if your pup was limping after that fall and you had to take him to the vet? Would she be sorry then? I would've checked her at the door. She wouldn't be using my dayum computer until she showed me she was sincere and sorry about letting my puppy fall.

| Maybe you need to gradually ease out of that friendship. I know someone just like her, but I won't go into it except to say I haven't seen this person for many years. That my dear isn't a friend. I'd be putting her out of my house pronto and let her know not to come back. |
