Cody has been doing good the last couple of days, but he threw up again today. It hasn't been frequently- just once last Tuesday, then on Thursday, and now today (Monday). Since it hasn't been frequent and he has gotten his appetite back we're going to wait it out before calling the vet. He has to go in for another shot in a couple weeks so if he gets worse we're definitely calling, otherwise just bringing it up when we go back. *sigh* our lab never made us worry this much...

he just threw up again and he refuses to eat He hasn't eaten anything since noon and he's thrown up twice since then and won't touch his water either... Can heat make them sick to their stomach? It was over 90 degrees today and we tried to keep him inside, but he wanted to be outside... whenever we would move him to the cooler areas of the yard, he would walk back into the sun. The worst part is that he was doing so much better this morning- ate all of his breakfast and his lunch and he NEVER does he took a bad fall last week, a couple days before his shot... we should have had him checked out right away and we didn't because he wasn't limping and didn't seem to have any sore spots... we should have mentioned it to the vet, but we didn't because he was acting better... now we're not sure he's been the same since then... I'm so worried we've completely done him wrong and all he does is love us...

yesterday when he was really really mopey, I gave him a dab of karo and a little while later he perked up a little and was walking around. Now, tonight my mom wiped a little brown sugar into his mouth a little while ago and a little while later he just perked up and jumped out of his bed and went around to visit us! he has been avoiding us all night. We were thinking that he overate this morning because we only feed him 3 times a day... if he ate himself sick, maybe his problem is blood sugar. He went straight to his food dish so we're letting him eat a little and I think we're going to leave his food out from now on so he can 'graze' because he is doing miraculously better right now
