| Anyone know where I can get a CHEAP exercise pen? Basically the title says it all! Anyone know where I can get an inexpensive exercise pen. I don't wanna make a big investment with it because I'm not even sure how often I'll use it. I'm not really that concerned about height, although I would like one that is 30" or more, if possible. All the ones on eBay are $50+ and other places are way more than that. Anyone?

| Be careful about that Walmart pen. My family down the road has one and my Gidget can wiggle through the joints. She is an 11 week old puppy and I think she could do it for another month at least. |

| Let me know... when you find a deal. I started looking at them a few weeks ago, too. I have not found anything CHEAP--so I am now looking for something to last a long time--a more permanent structure. I think we have just decided to fence in a small play yard outside for our two furbabies (12x16). This seems to be pretty expensive, but I could not see paying $100+ for a nonpermanent structure (that would be basically the price of two of the small x-pens). For another $150, we can put in a fence (do it ourselves--just buy the materials). I think that is what we are going to do--my hubby is on vacation during the week of July 4th and we are not going anywhere--this will probably be our vacation--building a fence...hehe! All this and no vacation....just for the love of two little Yorkies!!!!!!!

| Check Craigslist.org, or Freecycle (Yahoo) in your area I paid $60 for our pen, new, it's only 24" though, the taller ones are more expensive, but I wanted to be able to step over it easily without tripping (I'm clumsy ) Anyway, someone in either of those groups mentioned above may have one that they no longer use, post a wanted ad at each group

| Thanks for all the suggestions. I'm not in any immediate need for one- so I think I may get an eye out on Craigslist.

| We got an 8-panel small animal pen at pet supplies plus for $30. It is white and works great for our 13 week-old girl. We got it when she was 8 weeks old. Our pet supplies plus doesn't carry it in stock, but they can have it in store in just a few days. The front says suitable for rabbits, hamsters or small puppies. Plus their flyer usually has a $5 off coupon. I ended up buying 2. One ofr our house, 1 for grandma's house. They can be connected.
