| I don't feed it to Adie but she has had bites of mine from time to time. I think it is the mayo that she likes though. Why do you ask? There doesn't seem to be any ill effects from it. ????? |

| I think that tuna is just fine. I know that mackeral in cans is also a good source of protein for them...

| I would guess it's fine but you're going to have some stinky breath!

| I wouldn't give it often, only ocassionally as it can have mercury in it. That goes for people, too, according to my doctor.

| I don't give tuna very often at all anymore, but when I did, I gave Albacore tuna. I give salmon, sardines, cod and such now. It's a wonderful source of natural vitamin A. |

| Milo loves it-------I give it as a treat every week or so straight from the can along with the cats. Meaning I give it to the cats as well, not that I give Milo cats straight from the can....... |

| I buy albacore tuna in water. I have drained the water from a can and split it between the two of mine. They absolutely loved it! |

| I also occasionally give Toto the Albacore tuna in water [that's the only canned tuna that I eat too]. She loves it and Patrick says that just confirms what he has always said about her ... "she's part cat"!!

| Tuna My yorkies love tuna, and any kind of fish, it is really good for them, but too much of a good thing turns out not to be so good, so they don't get it alot, but would eat it every day if i let them. Whenever my husband and i have Salmon, or any kind of fish, we get the same for the dogs, as they love fish, and I think it is good for them, they don't have a lot of tuna, but they love, Cod, Salmon, Perch, Halibut, Filet of Flounder, they love any fish of any kind, and so do we. If we don't share with them we feel bad as they so love it, so i always make extras to make sure they all get a little, they are nuts over fish!!!!!! We just make sure there are never any bones, as that could kill them, so we are very careful to get all the bones out first. Wish someone would get the bones out for me before I ate it. We have spoiled little stinkers!!!!!! |
