| Having difficulty housebreaking my yorkie GREETINGS TO ALL OF YOU... WELL, TODAY MY PATIENCE WAS VERY WORN. BOOBAH, MY 4 MONTH YEAR OLD YORKIE WAS DOING VERY WELL WITH THE WEEPADS. I TOOK HER TO THE PARK AND WE SAT UNDER THE TREE, SHE PEED ONCE. THERE WERE SO MANY FLIES AND BUGS I DECIDED TO BRING HER BACK HOME. SHE HAS HER OWN TRAVELING CASE. I PUT A SOFT TOWEL IN THERE THAT WAY SHE WONT SCRAPE HERSELF WHILE SHE'S IN THERE. THAT'S ANOTHER THING, SHE GETS CARSICK AND VOMITS. I ALWAYS LAUNDER HER TOWELS ETC. I HAVE 3 WEEPADS IN THE DEN, 2 WEEPADS IN THE MASTER BATHROOM WHERE SHE SLEEPS AT NIGHT AND 2 WEEPADS AT THE BOTTOM OF THE STAIRS. I LIVE IN A TOWNHOME. SHE IS SWEET AS COULD BE WHEN SHE DOES HER BUSINESS WHERE SHE'S SUPPOSED TO. BUT AS SOON AS MY BACK IS TURNED, VOILA, SHE DOES HER STUFF. I HAVE HAD HER FOR 5 DAYS SO FAR, I KNOW IT IS SOON. MY CARPET IS STAINED, I TRY RUBBING OUT THE STAIN WITH CLOROX CLEANUP AND WATER ON A RAG. THEN I PUT SOME DEODORIZER ON IT. I AM A RETIRED MAN, WORK WHEN I AM CALLED. I WORK AS A BACKGROUND UNION WORKER. MY WORK DOESNT CALL ME MUCH BUT I HAVE TO PUT MY PATIENCE INTO GEAR. WHEN I WAS A YOUNG MAN MY PATIENCE WAS SHORT, BUT AS I GOT OLDER IT GREW LONGER. I LOVE AND ADORE MY BOOBAH AS SHE IS CALLED BUT CANNOT UNDERSTAND WHY SHE DOESNT GO ON THE PADS. SOON, I WILL BE INSTALLING BRAND NEW CARPET THROUGHOUT THE TOWNHOME BUT I AM GOING TO WAIT A COUPLE OF MONTHS, I HAVE A SUNDECK UPSTAIRS WHICH I WILL PLACE SOME PADS THERE, WHEN I TAKE HER UP THERE. DOES ANYBODY HAVE ANY INPUT REGARDING HOUSEBREAKING? I AM AS KIND TO HER AS CAN BE. SHE HAS HER BEAUTIFUL TEDDY BEAR FACE. HELP! GILBERT/MISSION HILLS, CALIFORNIA |

| This is what it work for me my girl is 100% potty train, in the day I had her in the xpen that I got in petsmart, cover with pads, water, food, safe toys, when she was out I keep my eagle eye on her, remember to correct only when you catch her in the act, a firm NO, and you take her at the pad, when she uses her pads praise her make a big deal out of it and tell her how good girl she is,because if you correct after the accident she don't know why you are mad at her, in the night my girl sleep in her crate in my bedroom next to me, I always make sure she pee and did her business I will get up at night to take her to her pad, now she sleep with us and have the house for her with one pad that she use, she also go outside too, it takes time and patient, but you can do it, when my girl is at home alone she is in the kitchen with one pad, bed, food, water, safe toys, tv on, with a baby gate, but most of the time she is with us, if you have more?? please feel free to ask. I forgot remember to clean and wash her stuff with a pet enzymatic cleaner you can get it at the pet store, other house hold cleaner it work for our nose not for them. Bienvenidos at yt. | Is she 4 months or 4 years old? Right now she does not know what is expected of her or what she is supposed to do. YOu have to train her, and not with harsh words at all. No words are needed with training. Do you live in the Mission Hills outside of Lompoc? If so, your about 2 or 3 miles from me. |
