| introduction Just an introduction- My name is Kirsten (not kodibear... lol). I'm 22 years old and an unemployed college grad who still lives with her parents (save me!) Anyway, my parents went on vacation last weekend and came back with a yorkie! We know absolutely nothing about yorkies except the little bit we've learned in the last week... and he was a rescued pup so we really don't even know much about him. What we do know about our yorkie though, is that his name is Cody, nickname is kodibear because he sure thinks he's a kodiac bear. The vet papers say he was 2.2 pounds at 7 weeks, but we don't know if that age was an estimate or if they really know. They picked him up at an animal hospital for $500 because the owner was injured and couldn't take care of her dogs anymore- the animal hospital was apparently raising money for her by selling the pups from her most recent litter. We're not sure if he's full bred yorkie, but the only other thing they thought he would be is possibly a silky/yorkie. Here are some pics of Cody Last edited by kodibear; 06-19-2007 at 11:41 AM. | Congratualtions on Cody! He does look like a little bear..he is adorable You have come to the right place for Yorkie information. If you have any questions just go to the topic that best fits the situation and post. There are many people here with alot of good info. That was nice of your parents to rescue a baby in need
