| Poor baby...wasting away! Wasting away? Maybe in Margaritaville, but not here!!! Gizmo went for his shots this morning and he has gone from 2.25 lbs to 3.25 lbs. in a little over three weeks!! Vet said he is very healthy and active, so not to worry. I guess we just keep on doing what we're doing.

| That's a great report . It's wonderful to hear a good report on a baby. He's "The Man".

| Yep...maybe we don't need to worry so much about hypoglycemia now? I think we'll cut back on the snacks and just keep him on the Innova Puppy dry since he eats that so well.

Bella Boo & Diggy Too! Donating GS Member | Hoggers Well how bout this lil stat on Diggy 9 weeks~ 1.1 pounds 12 weeks~2.2 pounds 15 weeks~3.1 pounds Sounds like we have similar little chow hounds!!! Glad to hear your baby is "porkin up" Im kinda hoping Diggy is a bigger boy.... But odds are with having 3 of his sisters in the family that are 4.5, 4.11, and 7 and he has the same parents....He wont be that big....I am kinda wanting a teapot!!! They are toooooo cute! OmG I just read yours was hypo too??? I think thats why Diggy is gaining so fast too....he had seizures from hypo so I lterally got up in the middle of the night to feed. Im so happy your baby is gaining.... So your going to relax a lil now on the hypo??? I have been wondering when I should too. Its just so scary cuz at 12 weeks with the big weight gain I relaxed a bit....and that very night he played really hard and didnt wanna eat much...I gave nutrical and he had a seizure the next morning...so I am back on the paranoia train~ If he ever turns down Innova...Diggy like a food for a week then we have to switch...he loves Chicken Soup and Evanger all life stages. he also welcomes Wellness......I asked for samples from the companies and have them all on hand encase he snubs again....How old is your baby now??

| The only time ever, I've had a dog do a little low blood sugar is Bumbie when I've had girls in heat and he won't eat.. I have to force feed him with a paddle pop stick.. He don't fight it but won't eat it on his own.... but as to pups having it or the other adults never delt with it in 20 yrs of breeding. I guess I'm just very blessed...I do free choice feed my dogs so they ar never with out food or water..And tidbits from the table... |

We have been lucky and he has NOT had a hypo episode, but I was worried since we brought him home a little too early 10 wks. (Didn't realize it at the time.) I will keep your food suggestions in mind in case Gizzy gets picky again. Thanks!
