| The Hardships of Guarding Your Mom Last night, Mugzy woke up barking and growling like crazy. Now, of course, he is under our covers. He started to struggle to get out from under them to protect us from whatever intruder he imagined. He's still barking and growling, trying to get out, goes to the bottom of the bed and slides down under the covers to the floor. He's searching for a way out, finally finds it, and pops out from under the covers. He takes a deep breath, starts barking and growling as he runs down the hallway. I know that he was thinking, "It would be soooo much easier to guard the house, if I could just get out from under the covers!" |

| Us too! Emmy starts jumping off the bed and then running right back up the steps to the bed. Gets in-between hubby and me and starts "HOWLING"--like she could really do something if there was a problem! It is irritating, but also hilarious. Since we have had Oscar (for 1 1/2 weeks)--he has only woke up once when Emmy starts growling and barking. He can sleep through anything - not going to be much of a guard dog, I don't think!
