i am not sure but i think if they have the piebald gene, they are almost ALL OVER white with a little tan in the face and on the rear.

i'm glad you started this thread! i recently noticed mimi has ALOT of white fur on her chest too& a little at her feet- she reminds me of your baby... i wasn't sure if that was the norm?! :confused: or if she would outgrow it?
honestly- i don't even really understand what the parti gene, "carrier" etc is!!?
i tried to find some info on the parti gene but didnt see much stuff besides people selling "carrier" puppies with the gene--- so is having the white fur spots a good thing?! her parents were pure--so i am a little confused?! i saw some mixed opinions on the issue.

of course i LOVE her no matter what color or size!!

ps- i know the quality of my cellphone camera is bad--i will post better quality pics of her this week after my digital camera is fixed

From what I have seen Carriers do not have white all over, can be just just "blazed" or no white at all! Look at the pic in this thread by JeanieK that is a pic of a carrier (she's beautiful) After researching you do not even have to have any white on them to be a carrier, actually many dont. Im forgetting names now, but someone in another thread bred a carrier (splitter) and a standard, and she also posted the pups...OmG soooo cute 3 were standard, and one lil full parti girl! I think she said if you breed a splitter and a standard you have a 50-50 chance of getting a parti. In her case she has had 2 litters, first one she got 3 parti's and one standard, next litter 1 parti and 3 standards. Absolutely amazing to me. :D

Okay there is the thread go look at these babies!!!! LOVEM!! Oh and it Biewer babies not Parti as I stated, still same piebald gene at hand just different blood lines. SO COOL!

i would have never thought my vinny had a piebald gene but look at this pictue and tell me what you think. he is about 4 months old in this picture
he is white white white on his head chest and bottom

Could be never know until you breed thats whats so frustrating....lol From what has been explained to me there is a chance he is!!! See now your gonna get all curious like me !!! lol :cool:

there are some people on this site that are very knowledgeable in this area. i wish they would see this thread and explain it. i need to find the thread where this was explained in very dept detail.

Thats how I thought of Diggy too...I thought he would out grow it, may still, just weird how its getting bigger and more prodominant. I guess we'll see I have more pics of him from last night I have to uplaod so Ill post in a few.

hmmmm-- thats exactly how i think mimi is going to look soon! how old is diggy? also, just wondering but does diggy have any white marks on his feet?! mimi has a mark on her foot.

Diggy is 15 weeks 2 days old and is 3.1 pounds. And yes, he does have white in his feet and inside hind legs also. legs are white to the root and paws look like he ran into a paint brush but now coming in white at the root too.

Diggy is soooooooo cute! It is hard to say if he is a carrier or not, but he does certainly have large patches of white...hmmmm. :confused:
