| Birthday Party Ideas Hi, Have any of you ever had a birthday party for your little yorkies? Ours will be celebrating his 1st bday next week and we have invited a few of his little friends over for a party. We will have dog cake, ice cream, and a party bag for them. Any party ideas on how we can make this more fun than simply a time for them to sniff each others' behind? LOL! Simple dog games? Also, if any of you have a great dog cake recipe, that would be great. We were planning on buying it; but it is a little pricey.... $25 for a little 6 inch cake... If I have time, I may try baking it myself. Thank you! |

| Sounds like fun! Don't have any cake recipes.... but I think that the internet may be a good source.

| Here ya go..I maade this for the last birthday party, they loved it. 1 cup white or whole wheat flour 1 teaspoon baking soda 1/4 cup peanut butter 1/4 cup cooking oil 1 cup shredded carrots 1 teaspoon vanilla 1/3 cup honey (optional) 1 egg Mix the dry ingredients. Add the remaining ingredients and mix quickly. Bake in a greased ring mold at 350 degrees for 40 minutes. You may frost this cake with low fat cottage cheese and decorate with some carrot pieces. Store in the refrigerator. (Dogs will eat this without the honey added) |

Bella Boo & Diggy Too! Donating GS Member | happy birthday! Im gonna open a furbaby birthday party business. Thats my dream. I would supply the cake, punch, treats, and party bags! For the fancier ones, have doggie tea and pastries. There will be different packages depending on what they want. I will also have extra homemade treats and pastries on hand for purchase. I will also offer baby showers, or anything else the owner may want. And hopefully have the most hoppin' furbaby parties ever! Good luck at your party and if i was closer....Id come throw the party for you!!!!! HAPPY 1st BIRTHDAY!!!
