Jeanie Finally Asked to be let out for potty I am so excited. Last night - my baby finally went to the door (8months) on her own, and rang the bell at the door. Then sat down, waited at the door to be let out. This is the first time!! I was so thrilled......... She always goes outside, she just goes when I think she needs to. Never asked. This is a big moment in my babies life Just had to share

What we did was hang a long ribbon - with little bells at the end. So she tugs on the ribbon. We always rang it when opening up the door and said "go pee pee" and I guess it has now registered..... I'm so happy

Thanks Everyone Proud momma here I was on my exercise bike, heard the bell, then I looked and saw her sitting there looking out the door window so anxiously. I was like "honey - go let Jeanie out - she wants to Pee!!" so he watched her (secretly, because if she knows she's being watched, she does nothing!) and it was actually #2 time.....so this was really awesome! I know that the YT'ers can understand my excitement about something like this - so glad I can come here to share
