| Autumn went to obedience school yesterday! We started training school yesterday and there were two more Yorkies in the class w/Autumn and myself. The three of us stood together for some "YORKIE POWER" it was so cute. She met Remi who is 9 1/2 months and so hyper and she met Jake who is very mellow and sweet (he is 6 months). Autumn did not care for Remi very much because he was alittle to hyper for her, barking at her and jumping on her but when Jake would come near her she would lay down and roll over on to her back and let him sniff and lick her (what am I raising a slut! I told her she has to act like a lady . She did not seem to care though!) The first class got off to a slow start, alot of verbal instructions but I can not wait until next wed. so I can go back and see Autumns new Yorkie friends! Just thought I would share my excitement for meeting other Yorkie owners.!!! |

| You are so lucky! Adie had no other yorkies and lots of big clumsy puppies in her class. This one pit bull was facinated by her and kept trying to get her head in his mouth. He was sweet and funny but I didn't want to take any chances and stayed as far away as possible! Good luck with the classes and practice hard. We have reputations to uphold ya know.LOL |

| In my experience, the best part about classes is the socializing - for both the dogs and the humans! We would learn 2-4 new things, then go home and work on them and report back the next week. At first Loki never learned anything IN class, we always had to go home and do it 400 times. After about his 2nd round of classes he started picking things up IN class and we didn't even really practice at home. We haven't been to a class in months but I could yell "finish!" right now and he'd come over and sit next to me. It's so fun to be able to communicate with them. You will LOVE class. It's nice to hear there are other Yorkies!! We were always in with big dogs and the occasional poodle, westie or chi. Never another Yorkie. Have FUN and if you need help, there are a few of us on here who have done a lot of training so don't be shy!!

| Where are you taking her? I have been looking at taking Benji somewhere but haven't really found any place yet.

| That's so funny. A friend gave Maxwell a little backpack and I thought, what the heck are we going to do with that? Who knew it could be a back to school back pack! I'm still trying to find a class around my area. |
