| I have learned: More (alot more) about the health issues than I did before. More about the "alternative registeries) than I knew before. More about which grooming products to use. Tips on showing. More about the best dog foods to feed or not to feed. More about Yorkie scams. More about puppy mills and how many there are. More about my computer. More interesting sites to visit. That people actually dress their Yorkies. That most of the creative people on here make better/cuter clothes for dogs than can be bought at the stores. More breeding/whelping advice. That a Biewer is a new upcoming breed. That alot of the people here are quick to help others. That people actually purposely breed mutts. That there are people that actually breed for the wrong colors of Yorkie. That there are people that know nothing about breeding and do it anyway. There are more back yard breeders than I thought. There are people that know nothing about breeding and give advice. That people do not research the breed before wanting to be a "breeder".

| Ha! Too many things to name! I knew nothing about the breed when I got Gus, and when I found this forum, it explained a LOT. The best was when I was beginning to think he had asthma because of that huffing, dry-heave type action when they get nervous; found out here that it's nothing to worry about. The second best was finding out about Yorkie Day in PA, which was earlier this month. I got to meet some great YorkieTalkers and their dogs, and Gus and I had a great time. |

| I love YT! I LOVE LOVE Yorkie Talk- and I just joined about a month ago! I just learned how to effectively clean my tile so it doesn't smell like urine! I also learned about how to keep my puppy's mind occupied during the day while I'm at work- thanks YT members for the suggestions and advice! I learned all about grooming my pup and how to potty train him on puppy pads! I also learned about BITTER SPRAY- which has been a life saver in stopping my puppy from chewing off my fingers! Most importantly, I learned that i am NOT the only person in the world having a difficult time potty training my little puppy and there are ton of yorkie loves out there who are very supportive!!! |

Donating YT 2000 Club Member | I've learned that when you can't sleep, there is always good reading here on YT and sometimes others are awake too. I've learned that no matter what is bothering you or your pups, someone here on YT knows about it and will share with you. I've learned I'm not the only one with 100 bows. I've learned I'm not the only one who has clothes for my boys. I've learned I'm not the only one who frets when YT is "down". And I am so proud to introduce the Biewers to many of the YT members, in person and on line. |

| I have learned tons in the little time that I have been active here. I didn't know about all of the health risks that there are! I learned that other people have big ones too! Some are even bigger than Duke! (strangers used to make me feel like an outcast because Duke is "so big for a Yorkie" ) I learned about nutrical, and about better foods that are out there and so much more!!

| I don't have a yorkie, but I think that thanks to YT and all of you that make YT great that I think I will be a much better yorkie mom if my day ever comes. Here's just a few things: -learned about hypoglycemia and how it could affect out puppies -I've gotten tips as to which breeders to avoid (you guys saved me from buying from a puppy mill! which is why I am now determined to educate myself!!) -there are many useful grooming tips -I now know what I need to be prepared for -patience is key when it comes to potty/obedience training. And most importantly: -People on this site have some of the biggest hearts! (Mom2BabyNatalie is a perfect example!!!!) It's all I can think of for now... |

| I have learned so much since joining here. Mostly that there are real people here who care about what happens to others, filled with kind words and advice. in addition >there actually is a difference between dog foods >it doesn't matter if our dogs have pointy or floppy ears or long or short tail- I used to think that was important! please!! >I learned what an Ex-pen was- lol >I learned that this is a great place to share ideas, ask questions, and talk about "stuff"! >I learned about wee wee pads and how to train my dog properly >what a broker is and how they manipulate people into buying their dogs! (I love sammy though!) >what Luxating Patella is So much more! This is a great place to be! |

| I have learned soooo much on YT and continue to learn! Though I don't comment often (I'm usually sneaking a read or two while here at work The biggest thing that I have learned is that YT people are the most caring, loving group of people I've come across; one common bond being an irresistible, indescribable little furbaby-Amazing! I love this site, especially the photos and videos. I find myself living vicariously through others like Miss Pink Barbie and her recent trip to Hawaii, Eddie and his life in Alaska and I loved the Kansas City Meetup photos! It is great to put faces with the text. Following threads like Linda (Fufufashions) and MyPACK and now Mom2BabyNatalie and little baby Emma keep me glued to my screen.(shhhhh...I'm really working!) And though I've not met any of you, I feel as if I have...so thanks YT! |
