What's her normal food? Sorry to hear that, perhaps she just got a little too much? Have you tried giving her a bit of chicken? Hope she eats soon!

You know, when I got my puppy, the breeder was giving her stuff that I mixed up (puppy food, I think) pumpkin, and hard dog food mixed with electrolites or something. She had diarrhea too. The vet said put her on Science Diet Puppy Little Bites and that's all. She did really well after that. He said she was just gettimg too much different stuff. I remember he said if she would chew the little bites it would be the best for her. Just a thought! Pat

Thinking of a 2nd Puppy Happy Thanksgiving everyone! I was thinking of getting a second Yorkie some time after Christmas. Lexi will be almost 8 months by then. I was wondering if she would be too old by then to add another pup to the family. I should have gotten 2 when I got Lexi but since it was my first time out as a dog owner I was hesitant. Lexi is getting spayed in a couple of weeks, will that make any difference?

YorkiesRule: I think the early you get a 2nd one the better if you are planning that. Before they get a bit too attached and don't want more Yorkies in their 'territory'. Just my opinion of course...

| Buckeye was almost 4 by the time we got Ahia and he was very jealous. and still is. I didn't thing we could keep her at first. He didn't want anything to do with her all the way from Ohio to Texas. Motels and all. we made it a 3 day trip and he was nasty to her. But the second we stepped into the house he was treating her like he was happy to have someone of his species here. A total turn around. He still gets jealous but I think that is because he and I are so close and not his age.

Maddie was about 11 months old when I got Rudy. From day one she loves him, I think she thought she was his mother. I never felt like she was jealous of Rudy, but Maddie is a real layed back girl. If I would have had Rudy first I think it would have been a whole different story, he has more of an alpha personality...........Cindy
