| Dog communication? Do you guys believe that dogs communicate/converse with each other like we do? For instance when you bring a new one into the house, do the others teach the newbie the ropes? You would think that this would make training easier. If they clue in their new brother/sister that this is where mom wants you to pee, or dad will get really angry if you chew on that. |

| I do think they have their own ways in which they communicate with one another. My puppy most definitely learned from his siblings in regard to house training. It took only a matter of weeks to house break him when I was expecting months. My doxie took him out and showed him all the neat places that the big boys potty and one day when I told them all to go potty he joined in like the light switch had flipped on. When the little guy does something wrong I have often seen one of the older dogs correct him and then look at me like...Whew kids! To me having a well trained older animal to help shape the new ones is priceless.
